Stunning pair of so called ‘Kandidaten’ (candidate) lounge chairs designed by Ib Kofod Larsen and manufactured by OPE, Sweden 1958. The chairs have a sculptural solid rosewood frame and are newly upholstered like the original cushions in a premium soft black leather. These chairs are charactaristic for the designs by Ib Kofod Larsen, who had his specicic way of designing, showing minimal details and the usage of beautiful wood combined with natural leather. The contrast and grain of the rosewood arms on the black leather is absolutely stunning. The chairs are in excellent condition and provide comfortable seating.
