Elegant set of 4 model 6911 armchairs designed by Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm, manufactured by Kill International Stuttgart, Germany 1968. These quality chairs have solid steel, matt chrome plated frames. The frames have a very nice and peculiar form, which makes these chairs unique in their own way. The heavy matt chrome steel frames support the high-quality black leather seat and back rest. Where the parts from the frames come together as twins, gives them an amazing back where most chairs are focussed on the front. The frames are connection with countersunk bolts which became a part of the design and are nice details in it. The organic form of the back rest provides a lot of comfort as it is fully foam filled. The chairs are in impeccable, fully original condition. It is hard to find chairs of this age in this condition. The chairs are priced and sold in a set of 4.
Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm were well known for the sturdy furniture, made of heavy and quality materials. Resulting in expensive, but durable furniture. Which can still be used today on a daily base. Without them knowing they designed a product which would be very important for the future as we recycle too little for the sake of the environment. These chairs for sure, are table to last for a long time still, that’s a deep going beauty in the thought of a good design.
