Helge Sibast model 430 dining chairs Denmark 1960

Fantastic large set of 12 dining chairs model 430 designed by Helge Sibast for Sibast Mobler, Denmark 1960. These elegant dining chairs are made of solid rosewood, and they are newly upholstered in black leather of high quality by Hulshoff. The leather is very soft and smooth and feels very nice, easy to clean as well of course. These chairs are amazing shaped, subtle but superbly crafted. With a slight bend in the back rest, providing more comfort while seating, but this also creates a balance in the design. The cross bar between the front and back legs provides extra support, they are both part of the design and part of the construction and make sure these chairs are very sturdy. The wood has an amazing grain and beautiful original colour. The set is priced and sold in a set of 12 as it is hard to find large sets of chairs.
