Fantastic sculprutal shaped lounge chairs set designed by architect, designer and businessman Giuseppe Scapinelli, Brazil 1955. Scapinelli is known for his sculptural work, crafted in the most beautiful wood to be found in Brazil. This set of chairs is made of solid walnut and has nice tapered arms which point slightly upwards. The chairs are newly upholstered in a beige upholstery. A nice detail is the open back, these chairs look beautiful from the back as well so could also be nicely standing free in a space. We have a matching sofa available in our other listings. Giuseppe Scapinelli was one of the most important designers from Brazil, with a large ouvre of unknown pieces such as the chairs on sale here.
