Super elegant ‘Agua’ coffee table by Giuseppe Scapinelli made in Brazil in 1950. This sculptural coffee table is made of black ebonized Beech wood, is in good condition, and has been fully refinished by our inhouse atelier. The base are two sections of symmetrical and intruiging shapes that are connected at the end and provide support to the top which is made of a wooden frame with a glass sheet that follows its curves. this sculptural table just looks fantastic in every angle and has become a very iconic and desirable piece. The work of Scapinelli is highly collectable and a perfect example of Brazillian design from the midcentury period, and would make a very nice addition to any collection or interior. Not often does a a table like this come up for sale, especially in this condition.
