Striking pair of large wall lamps model 12664 designed by Gio Ponti and manufactured by Arredoluce, Italy 1957. These large sized wall lamps are made of solid brass sheet and are partly painted in white to give a stunning contrast when lit. Similar lamps by Ponti are part of the interior of the famous Parco Dei Principi in Sorrento. These fantastic wall lamps have a very beautiful apperance when lit, like 2 abstract wall sculptures. These lamps can for sure brighten up an entire space with their appealing look as they are beautiful when they are on and off. They have an exquisite patina from years of aging and the structure of the lamps is slightly bent when you look at them straight on. The lamps use 3x E27 bulb up to 75 watt each. A very nice detail is the assembly sticker at the back of the lamps.
