This stunning and unique high bar cabinet, designed by the legendary Gio Ponti for the home of Guglielminetti, a renowned decor designer for RAI, is a true masterpiece of Italian mid-century modern design. Crafted in Italy, the cabinet features exquisite walnut  veneer, complemented by solid hardwood feet on the sides, which add both elegance and a playful touch to the overall design. The balance and symmetry of the piece are unmistakably “Tutto Ponti,” with outstanding woodworking details and a perfect finish that highlights the craftsmanship of the era.

The back of the cabinet is just as impressive as the front, with geometrically placed slats creating an eye-catching visual impact from any angle. The solid hardwood feet, with their darker hue compared to the walnut veneer, seem to “carry” the cabinet, giving it a dynamic, almost sculptural quality. A truly unique feature of this cabinet is the screenprint by Georges Braque, displayed behind glass in the center of the piece.
