Rare bamboo ‘Continuum’ lounge chair model BP16 designed by Gio Ponti, manufactured by Bonacina, Lurago d’Erba, Como Italy 1963. The chair is completely made of bamboo and wicker and still has its original purple upholstery and cushion. The cushion shows some fading but because it was still original and firm we decided to keep it with the chair. The chair is in extraordinary condition and seats very comfortable. Nicely shaped Italian designed chair and collectors item as well.
Like all of our upholstered pieces these can also be newly upholstered to your wishes. Ask our upholstery department for a very affordable quote. We only use the best quality foam and materials for all of our items in combination with upholstery to your choice.
