A monumental model 2058 chandelier designed by Gino Sarfatti and manufactured by Arteluce, Italy 1954. This large sized chandelier has a disk-shaped reflector with a hole in the middle which was painted white on the inside and grey on the outside. The diffuser cups are in black painted aluminium with frosted glass diffuser discs. The ceiling cap and arms are made of polished brass and have a beautiful original patina from age and usage. The Grey outside and black cups have been professionally refinished in their original colour, with full preservation of authenticity. The lamp still has a part of the Arteluce label on the inside of 1 black shade. The lamp uses 6x E27 bulbs up to 40 watt each. The only other lamp that was ever on the market was auctioned at Sale Italian Design – 19 november 2019 / Lot 74 Gino SARFATTI 1912-1985 Suspension mod. 2058 – 1954 and was sold at 54.600 Euro.
This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. Feel free to inquire for options.
