Highly rare set of model 608 wall or ceiling lamps designed by Gino Sarfatti and manufactured by Arteluce, Italy 1971. Visible large light bulb. Support in chrome plated steel. A very nice minimalistic design by Sarfatti where the big, oversized bulb plays a big part in the contrast of the aesthetics. This lamp existed in desk, wall or ceiling version. This is the ceiling lamp version but could also be used as wall lamp if wanted. Arteluce sticker on the outside of the shades is still present. Highly rare pair of lamps, this was a very small and short production only. The lamps are in original condition and show some age related wear, one lamp has a faded part in the shade if you look closely you will see it on the pictures, but only if you know where to look. Lamps use a large E27 bulb up to 100 watt. Bubls included in the sale. Priced and sold in a set of 2.
These lamps are checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA.
