A rare and highly collectible pair of first edition ‘600P’ table lamps, designed by the legendary Gino Sarfatti and produced by Arteluce in 1966. These exceptional examples are from the earliest production run, both retaining their original Arteluce manufacturer stickers, a significant detail sought by serious collectors and connoisseurs of Italian modern lighting. Crafted from white lacquered aluminum, the ‘600P’ showcases Sarfatti’s masterful balance of form, material, and innovation. Each lamp is anchored by a unique leatherette-covered base, internally weighted with lead buckshot. This ingenious construction allows the base to subtly shift and adapt, supporting the shade at virtually any angle, combining playful design with practical functionality.
