Multi functional model 882 daybed sofa designed by Gianfranco Frattini and manufactured by Cassina, Italy 1960. This sofa has a solid walnut structure and is beautifully detailed in its connections. The dovetail connections are an aesthetically perfection. It makes the sofa very unique and special in its kinds. The sofa is fully reupholstered in a beige Bouclé fabric which is great looking and has a nice contrast with the walnut structure. The structure of the sofa is also fully restored and looks fantastic again. When you remove the back cushions, you will create more space to turn this sofa into a daybed. Very ptractical and beautiful at the same time. The back cushions can also be used as head cushions. Gianfranco Frattini was one of the most important designers from the Italian modernism. Together with Gio Ponti, Marco Zanuso and Osvaldo Borsani.
