Rare Alcinoo table lamp designed by Gae Aulenti and manufactured by Artemide in Italy in 1975. The Clcinoo is made in the same year as the iconic Patroclo. The lamp is made of grey blown glass, wrapped in a delicate metal wire structure, still in its original condition, complete with the original plug and dimmer. When you switch it on the metal wire structure around the glass shade transforms the light into a mesmerizing glow, creating an ambiance like no other.
The lamp has a transparent body, reminiscent of the classic incandescent light bulb. Thanks to the brilliant design by Aulenti, it takes on a contemporary appearance. Its base is made from painted die-cast aluminium. What’s beautiful is how this lamp almost seems to vanish in the flow of light, reduced to its most essential elements.

Uses 3x E27 bulb. This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it.
