Francesco Pasinato wall panel in solid pine Italy 1970s

This rare and impressive large wall panel was created by Italian artist Francesco Pasinato (1935–2003) in the 1970s. Crafted from solid pine, it showcases a deeply structured relief with a dynamic interplay of organic shapes, precise carvings, and striking cutouts. Adding a bold contrast, the zinc elements incorporated into the design highlight Pasinato’s experimental approach and possibly indicate a new creative direction. This combination of materials was pioneered by Gruppo NP2 leaders Nerone & Patuzzi, from whom the panel appears to draw inspiration.
