Nice and rare set of ‘Planula’ office chairs designed by Ettore Sottsass & Perry King and manufactured by Agliana in Italy, 1970. The chairs are in very good condition, the leather is still in a nice and original condition. However, there is one chair that has been repaired on the back of the chair. Wheels like the ones that are under these chairs are known to wear out from years of usage, these have been replaced in our atelier and now roll perfectly again, as they should. The polished aluminium cast bases which are adjustable in height are still looking great and have a light patina which only adds character to the chairs age. They are marked with the Planula stickers on the bases.
All in all, it’s not very common to find Planula chairs, especially in a set of 6. This set Priced and sold in a set of 6.
