Large sized ‘La Logiche’ vase from the Ruins series designed by Ettore Sottsass Jr and manufactured by Design Gallery Milano, Italy 1992. This stunning and super sized vase was made of natural briar wood, white marble and gilded bronze. The vase was made in a limited edition of 9 pieces plus 3 artist proofs. This is one of the 3 artist proofs, signed at the base of the vase, PA l/lll 1992. The vase is a typical work by Sottsass, the combination of burlwood veneer, solid bronze and white marble is absolutely stunning. This vase is like a sculpture, a true work of art. Very rare and highly collectors piece. Its in ver good original condition, has one air bubble on the base in the veneer, see last picture. Highly rare piece, only 12 of these were available in total and they were never on the market after.
