Very nice and large sized rosewood writing desk designed by Ennio Fazioli and was designed after the Terni series which was designed by Ico Parisi and manufactured by MIM Roma, Italy 1958. This desk has a rosewood top and mahogany legs, the top has a very nice deep warm and dark grained rosewood veneer. The desk was always sold as a desk by Ico Parisi but the desk designed by Ico Parisi is slightly different from this. Fazioli and Parisi were in a fight shortly after Parisi designed these terni series and Fazioli adjusted the design to his own and manufactured it as MIM was owned by Fazioli at the time. The legs are finished with metal feet and the desk is marked with the metal M.I.M Roma tag on the legs. The desk has 3 large drawers on the right (can be changed to the left side) and 1 smaller drawers underneath the top which can be changed from the position as well. On the back there are also 2 drawers so the desk could be used from both sides. Very nice designed high quality desk, legs and drawers are in original condition, the top is fully refinished. There is a small bubble on the desk top, see last picture for that, only visible in specific angle. Very nice and functional large writing desk.
Top is refinished in our own atelier with high quality UV protection lacquer with preservation of authenticity. Also completely structural checked and ready to us
