Donut shaped lounge chair in Suede Italy 1970s

Interesting and unusual shaped large lounge chair, produced in Italy the 1970’s by unknown maker. This high quality lounge chair is very comfortable, in good original condition and has a lovely patina from age. The chrome still looks very shiny and the beautifully stitched suede upholstery is olive colored, and has a light craquelé but that only adds lots of character. The only visible part of the frame is its stand, which is constructed of chromed tubing and very typical for space age furniture, especially for Italian designs. This tubular design makes the chair bounce wonderfully, and is very comfortable in combination with the softness of the seating itself. There would be numerous suitable combinations and settings for a piece like this, and would most definitely be a nice adittion to any interior.
