Dennis Slootweg metal ghost chair Holland 1998

Very nice sculptural metal ‘ghost’ chair designed and produced by Dennis Slootweg Den Haag, Holland 1998. These chairs were made in very small production of 12 pieces + 2 prototypes. This chair was made of steel, finished with dark grey patina and transparent lacquer. So you see the rust but it will not got more than this because its preserverd with the transparent lacquer. This chair comes out of a set of 4, other examples that were produced were made in white. These are really nice because they have a unique look because of the rust in them. Very nice sculptural chair, heavy metal chair though they are not solid. Very nice crafted chair for someone who wants something unique in their home. No longer in production, sold out quite quickly after the chairs were produced in 1998. Collectors item now, we have 2 of these available.
