Foldable dining table designed by Cor Alons, manufactured by Gouda den Boer, Holland 1953. Cor Alons was together with Willem Lutjens one of the first on Holland to make plywood furniture, most probably inspired by the earlier designs by Charles Eames. In this table you can see the similarities very well. The table is a fantastic example of the small homes we Dutch people had and have, this was ofcourse designed to save space in a small dining room. Folded down the table is 120 cm long and extracted it is 165 cm long. Can use up to 6 chairs max. Great to use as breakfast/kitchen table. Also several matching chairs in stock by Cor Alons.
Fully refinished with high quality UV protection lacquer with preservation of authenticity. Also completely structural checked and ready to use.
