Fantastic set of 4 ‘Conoid’ dining chairs in the manner of George Nakashima, USA 1970. These chairs are made ofter the famous Conoid chairs designed by George Nakashima and are very similar. These quality chairs are fantastic crafted in solid walnut. Very nice warm walnut wood with fantastic grain to it. With a spine back and organic shaped seat, the chairs are so similar to the chairs by Nakashima that a great carpenter must have made these with a lot of love. One chair had a professional repair at 1 foot, 4 dowels were put in place to make it strong again, nicely done. Very nice set of chairs for one who doesnt want to spend 20k on the original chairs by Nakashima.
George Nakashima style
Very good, original
