This is for a Minimalist model CU05 cabinet designed by Cees Braakman and manufactured by Pastoe UMS, The Netherlands 1958. This high cabinet is made of teak wood veneer and has a black painted metal frame. The handles are made of black plastic. The two folding doors are white painted, on the inside there is a bar and or writing desk part. A nice detail is the blue painted small drawer on the inside. The lower part has 2 double folding doors with shelves behind. This is a very versatile cabinet which can serve many purposes. This cabinet is from the Japanese series as you can see it has a lot of Japanese influences to the aesthetics of the design. The black metal structure frame has plastic feet to protect your floor and they are also adjustable in height due to an ingenious system that allows you to lever the cabinet in case of an unequal floor. The cabinet is in very good original condition with only very minimal and normal wear due to age and usage and still its nice original patina and colour which gives a lot of character to the piece. This is a timeless piece and fits nearly any modern interior, home or office. The cabinet still has its original metal Pastoe tag on the inside.
