Outstanding quality drawer cabinet model DC154 designed by Carlo de Carli and manufactured by Sormani, Italy 1963. This example of the DC154 is finished in a striking rosewood veneer and was the most luxurious version of this model with the solid bronze drawer handles and feet. The refined beauty of this cabinet was very characteristic for de Carli. The beauty is in the little details, in this case the woodwork details from the legs and the solid bronze details. The very thin pin point feet make it look like the cabinet is floating which gives it a very light appearance. The bronze details have a stunning patina from age and usage and the rosewood veneer is fully refnished. The cabinet is in stunning clean condition from the inside as well. The 3 drawers provide plenty of storage which makes this piece very functional as well. A hard to find beauty in its kind.
