Stunning brutalist shaped coffee table, made in The Netherlands 1960s. Although we dont know who made this table, it shows a stunning design, created into perfection. It has something from the designs by Ado Chale, only made in completely different materials. This table was made of pulverized and molded graphite stone mixed with resin. These were made in unique molds, therefor every table was unique in its structure. Its a very nice and solid quality table with nice pattern on the surface and this example has a very nice tanned grey colour which is quite unusual. Looks like real stone but in fact its only half stone and therefor so much more easy to handle. The table is in original condition with minor wear and patina from age and usage but this adds character, even more to the bulky character it already has. The color and shape of this table makes this a timeless piece and it would look highly decorative in a nowadays home or interior.
