Branco e Preto MF5 Carlos Milan lounge chairs Brazil 1953

Very beautiful ‘MF5’ lounge chairs designed by Branco e Preto and manufactured in Brazil by Mahlmeister & Cia in 1953. This pair is in fully original condition with some wear on cushions, which is still the original upholstery. The frames are solid Imbuia wood and have woven ratan backrests. There are stunning wood connection details on the arm rests, and the chairs themselves look very light to the eye. Their overall stance, seating height, slightly sloped backrests and backrest height make it a very comfortable experience. This set is priced and sold in a set of 2.
