Bernini operaperta coffee table Italy 1978

Unique shaped and highly rare coffee table, which is a prototype designed by Bernini design team and manufactured by Bernini, Italy 1978. This amazing post-modern coffee table has beech wooden legs which are amazingly constructed. The wooden feet and corner connections are aesthetically cut out in a bit Roman style, a half bow if you look at it from the sides. The legs have amazing connections at the corners, where the feet are connected with the top, they used different wood types (hardwood) to highlight the connections. Well, if you see them anyway, lets make sure they are fantastically made, is what they probably thought. It is anyway an amazing skilled piece of craftsmanship and probably that’s why this is so rare, not many of these were sold. The top is made of fantastic maple burlwood which is nice in contrast with the beech wooden feet. The table is in very good condition with only very minimal wear from age and usage.
