Bar stools in leather and chrome set of 3 France 1960

Very nice and elegant set of 3 bar stools, often attributed to a design by Charlotte Perriand, France 1960. These stools have quite some similarities to the chairs Charlotte Perriand selected for the Les Arcs Ski Resort designed by her in the French alps. After research the chairs used in the project were produced by Dal Vera and these stools look a lot like those chairs but were never used in the Les Arcs project, and therefore have nothing to do with a design by Charlotte Perriand. However, these are beautiful, designed stools and even though they are unknown, still some of the nicest stools on the vintage market if you ask me. Made of high-quality chrome plated tubular steel. They have very thick saddle leather in cognac colour, and they always have a nice and own characteristic patina from age and usage. They are not too heavy which makes them comfortable in use as they are still sturdy and strong. A very nice set of 3 stools which also looks nice from the back. The perfect stool for a mid-century modern kitchen or counter. Priced and sold in a set of 3.
