Fantastic large extendable conference or dining table model 212 designed by Arne Vodder and manufactured by Sibast Mobler, Denmark 1960. The table has typical Danish elegance. The tripod feet support a large oval top which is made of 2 parts. When these slide open, 1 or 2 extension leaves can be put in the middle to extend the table from 197 to 247 to 297cm. The table remains stable because of the large tripod feed in the centre. The table has a slightly tapered solid wooden rim which is a nice, elegant detail of the design. This table is made of partially solid and rosewood veneer and is fully refinished into excellent condition. The wood has a very nice and warm grain to it and this table can use up to 10 chairs easily. Combined with Vodder’s subtle design and the great craftsmanship of Sibast Furniture, it gives the table an understated and elegant appearance that is luxurious without having to scream. This table would look truly amazing in a modern home or interior, hard to find large table in this excellent condition. The chairs are not included in this listing, they can be purchased separately.
Fully refinished in our own atelier with high quality UV protection lacquer with preservation of authenticity. Also, completely structural checked and ready to use.
