Beautiful set of 2 lounge chairs from the 3300 series designed by Arne Jacobsen and manufactured by Fritz Hansen, Denmark 1956. These chairs were originally designed by Jacobsen for the SAS Air Terminal connected to the SAS Royal Hotel. The series exudes Jacobsen’s unfailing sense of line and proportion and is proof of his ability to design everlasting classics. The Series 3300 forms an elegant contrast to the organic shapes of the Egg and Swan chairs, also designed especially for the Royal Hotel. These chairs have a solid streel tubular metal frame and is matt chrome plated. The chairs are reupholstered in a beautiful black and white bouclé fabric which is a great contrast with the steel frames. The chairs are first production and have the original labels on the bottom.
