Armin Wirth aluflex folding chairs set of 6 Switzerland 1951

Very nice and set of 6 folding chairs designed by Armin Wirth and manufactured by Hans Zollinger Sohre Zürich, Switzerland 1951. These industrial designed chairs are super practical as they are light weighted, and the seats can fold open so you can easily stack and store 6 chairs in a space where you can put normally only 1 chair. Although the chairs look very transparent and delicate, they provide enough body and comfort as a good dining chair should. The frames are made of tubular aluminium and the seats and backs are made of black painted birch plywood. Due to the organic shape of the seats, they seat very pleasant. Another nice detail in this version is the black finish, it is very thin finished and because of this you still see the birch wooden grain structure on the seats and backs. The chairs are in very nice and clean, fully original condition. Priced and sold in a set of 6.
