Alvar Aalto style large wall lamps Denmark 1960

Superb pair of large wall lamps inspired by the design of Alvar Aalto, Denmark 1960. These lamps have very dark grey ebonized brass arms and white lacquered multi layered shades. The lamps give very nice warm diffused light when lit because of the many layers and a round light bulb these lamps use. On the inside of the shade there are 2 glass diffuser plates made of matt glass. The lamps have a fantastic patina from age and usage, especially to the patinated brass. They are in very nice original condition. The lamps use a round PL bulb for maximum light performance up to 150 watt.

These lamps are checked in our own atelier, cleaned and are suitable for use in the USA. For US usage you would only have to change the plug or get a holiday converter if needed for a floor or table lamp.
