Fantastic early armchair model 45 designed by Alvart Aalto and manufactured by Oy Huonekalu- ja Rakennustyötehdas Ab, Turku, for Artek. 1950s. This is a very nice early 1950s example in very nice condition and patina. The chair has a birch plywood frame and a blue vynil upholstered seat which is still in very good original condition. The chair seats very comfortable as an office chair for example. Very nice an rare armchair in original condition with amazing patina.
