Dutch modern ‘globe’ floor lamp designed by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar and manu factured by Domani designs, Holland 1967. This lamp was the very first design by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar and it was produced by Domani designs at Herengracht 113, in Amsterdam. This lamp was designed before Aldo opened his own studio in 1969. This example is made of white lacquered tubular metal and has a matt opaline glass globe. The lamp was purchased by previous owner in the early 1970s together with the white table lamp we have, visible on the last 2 pictures. These lamps are very hard to find because they were made in small production numbers, how many is unknown. This lamp is in excellent original condition and gives amazing spherical light when lit. It uses and E27 bulb up to 100 watt.

This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. Feel free to inquire for options.
