Very nice pair of lounge chairs designed by Aksel Bender Madsen for Bovenlamp, Holland 1959. Bovenkamp was one of the best furniture making companies in Holland during the 1950s and 1960s. They also imported furniture directly from Denmark and attracted some Denish designers, one of them was Aksel Bender Madsen. This is one of the early Bovenkamp models he designed and are highly refined. We newly upholstered them in close to original fabric in very nice 2 tone combination with the wood. The frame is in solid oak and the arm rests are in teak wood. Fully restored and in excellent condition. Super comfort seating in these 2 beauties.
