Nice and fully original high version ‘Artona’ cabinet designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa and produced in Italy by Maxalto in 1975. This cabinet is in good condition, has one door, two storage compartinents and contains a lot of signature features Afra and Tobia are known for. From the chamfered sides with different colors of wood, minimalistic approach towards form itself and putting focus on the constructive details. The door is wrapped in a beautiful chocolate brown leather and looks very elegant in combination with the sleek shapes of the cabinet itself. The cabinet stands on wheels which make the piece easily moveable. A piece like this is quite uncommon to come accross and is one of the most unusual shaped versions from the Artona series cabinets.
The Scarpa duo is very famous for creating minimalistic designs that bypass normal constructive solutions, which take their furniture to a different level. This piece is no exception and would make a very nice chance to obtain a beautiful design by Afra e Tobia Scarpa.
