Fantastic pair of large lounge chairs designed by designed duo Afra e Tobia Scarpa, and manufctured by Maxalto, Italy 1975. This set of chairs is from the famous and highly wanted Artona series designed by the Scarpa duo in 1975. These series are known for its beautifully sculpted and significant finished woodworking details. The chairs are made of solid walnut, layed in with dark wood to creat an amazing composition in the chairs design. This is best to be seen in the back rest of the chair where the curved lines are clearly visible. These chairs have its original and beautifully patinated natural leather seats. The chairs are in good original condition with normal but minimal user wear from age and usage. For someone who wants something classy with character and a lot of comfort too.
