Modernist writing desk model CB07 designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe UMS Utrecht, Holland 1950. This very nice birch wooden writing desk has a red folding desk top and 2 blue folding doors underneath with a shelve behind. The cabinet is complete with key and the locks are working. The cabinet is fully refinished and looks perfect, the colored doors are still original and show some wear from age and usage. The inside is clean too. A very nice detail is the plywood legs that Braakman saw on the designs of Edward J Wormley who invented these legs in the end of the 1940s.
