Fantastic sculptural set of dining chairs model 3208 designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, Denmark 1972. This early set is a production from 1972 (stamped on the bottom of the plastic cap below the seat) when the design was from 1970 so its one of the first productions. Very nice set in oak, normally these are upholstered or painted in color. These chairs with arms have a stunning sculptural look and because these chairs have a very nice patina to the oak wood the look really fantastic. Museal set of chairs in wonderful condition.
