Arne Jacobsen moka set Cylinda line Stelton 1957

Item description

Moka set from the Cylinda line designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1967. Jacobsen designed a large range of table ware for Stelton including this ice bucket. The new series immediately made a splash as a major innovation within its category. The simplicity of cylindrical shapes and specially designed Bakelite handles characterized the line which, along with its brushed steel surfaces, stood in striking contrast to the highly polished curves of its day. The Cylinda Line was awarded the ID Prize in 1967. This is for a moka set with coffee pot, milk jug and sugar pot. Marked Stelton. In nice used condition.
