Amazing monumental coffee table from the Eros collection, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti for Skipper Milan, Italy 1971. This table was from the Eros series that Mangiarotti designed with a blink to the Roman era. The colossal pillars where the top rests on shows what the pillars could carry. He brilliantly designed this tables series and all the construction is based on is shape and gravity. The 4 marble legs support the thick and heavy square marble top. The table is in excellent condition, it comes from the 1st owner and it had never moved since it was purchased in 1975. The table is made of solid white carrara marble with light grey veins. I had never seen this table in this colossal size, but its a real beauty. This will for sure be a centerpiece of attention when you put this in your home or interior.
